If you're under 30, you probably went to at least one music festival this summer. But even if you didn't (and even if you're over 30 like me) you probably dressed like you did. Boho chic has been on the rise over the past few years as flower crowns, distressed denim and fringe have taken over as summer wardrobe essentials. With the sun shining down and the latest indie album on repeat, going boho makes us feel like total free spirits on the weekends, even if we do nothing but work, eat and sleep during the week.

While that boho vibe usually fizzles out by fall, this season feels different. For Fall '15, some of the top fashion houses embraced all things '70s, providing a softer option for those of us who just don't 'get' grunge. From supple suede coats and boots to pretty bow-tie blouses and flowy maxis, the options for boho babes are endless this season. Read on for my top boho scores and how to wear them to keep the party going for fall. Don't you just love?

HOW TO WEAR IT | Live in your basic white button-down but want to change things up for fall? The bow-tie blouse in black & white will work with everything from jeans to a little suede skirt. For party season (it's never too early to plan those epic outfits), channel your inner Angelina and pair it with tailored black pants, patent pumps and a matte red lip. Borrowed from the boys? Um, more like breaking their hearts.

OUR PICK |Chiffon Bow-Tie Blouse, $34.99, H&M

HOW TO WEAR IT | As the mercury drops, we can't think of a better boho way to cozy up than with a faux fur vest. There are loads of fun fur vests out there this season so how do you choose the perfect one? Find a colour that speaks to you (grey, black or a tone-on-tone brown are all great neutral options), and be sure it's luxuriously plush. This vest provides the perfect third element to finish off every outfit, whether over our silk blouses, flowy fall dresses, or chunky knits.

OUR PICK |Faux Fur Vest, $59.95, Dynamite

HOW TO WEAR THEM | Flared jeans might feel strange after so many seasons of skinnies but check out any current NYC street style feed and you'll see that flares are huge this fall. We love the subtle distressing on these medium wash flares and are obsessed with how they make our legs look extra long and lean. The key with any flares? Just avoid flats. Easy.

1969 Indigo Authentic Flare Jeans, $79.95, GAP

HOW TO WEAR THEM | Suede has made a major comeback this fall and will add instant richness to your fall outfits. We're especially smitten with suede boots in cognac because they'll warm up any look. Try them this fall with denim, a boho dress with opaque black tights, or even an oversized sweater dress.

OUR PICKS |Suede Midi Boots, $119.95, H&M; Stretchy Faux Suede Knee-High Boots, $119.95, Le Château

HOW TO WEAR IT | From Burberry's cognac suede trench to The Row's long leather stunner, belted cognac coats are one of the essential pieces to pick up this fall. While we'll never give up our leather moto jackets, we're ready to go long, soft and swingy with this seventies style.

OUR PICK |Suede and Faux Fur Belted Coat, $269.95, Le Château

HOW TO WEAR IT | Off-the-shoulder styles might seem like a summer thing, but who says you need to keep 'em covered for fall? We say shimmy down those bra straps and pick up this off-the-shoulder stunner to pair up with your fave jeans.

OUR PICK |Printed Off-the-Shoulder Blouse, $22, Dynamite

HOW TO WEAR IT | Boho style is about engaging all the senses, and while you might already have your ears tuned to Joni Mitchell, be sure to make a little music of your own. A jingly silver statement necklace will keep your accessories right on track with your new boho look.

OUR PICK |Silver Boho Statement Necklace, $30, American Eagle

HOW TO WEAR IT | Why remortgage your house for a Chloé or Fendi? Coach's Swagger 27 brings the on-point patchwork to the mall with this gorgeous handbag, perfect for anyone who's got some disposable income and wants her bag to stand out in a crowd.

OUR PICK |Swagger 27 Handbag in Patchwork Leather, $595, Coach

HOW TO WEAR IT | Fringe is the new black, or something like that. Whether you want to go bold with a fringed black skirt or prefer to keep it small with a necklace, be sure to add a swingy fringed piece to your fall wardrobe.

OUR PICKS | Faux Suede Fringe Pencil Skirt, $99.95, Le ChâteauGold Long Fringe Choker, $20, ALDO

HOW TO WEAR IT | From right now until when the snow flies, a wool fedora will keep your blowout banging like no toque ever can. Look for interesting details in the new crop of fedoras in stores now, from chain details to feathers to grosgrain ribbon trim.

OUR PICK |Wool Chain Detail Fedora, $30, ALDO

HOW TO WEAR IT | Since trendsetters are rocking fitted turtlenecks under everything this fall, we love the idea of bringing back the poncho to wear over top. Lovely like a blanket scarf but lower maintenance since it stays put, we'd wear this pretty poncho over shades of white and grey for an Instagram-worthy tone-on-tone look.

OUR PICK |Patterned Poncho with Fringe, $34, Maurices

HOW TO WEAR IT | We can't get enough of fall dresses, especially when they're long, black and made of silky chiffon. This one brings boho right into the now thanks to studding on the belt and cuffs. Wear it out (obviously) or with black ankle boots and a vest for day.

OUR PICK |Beaded Chiffon Maxi, $99, H&M
