It's time to get down to business: the business of partying. With all of the wedding, shower and summer party invites flooding my inbox, outfit planning is a key priority for me right now. Okay, fine, I only have one wedding invite in my inbox. But I'm a mom of two so for me, this one little invite feels like kind of a big deal. I mean, it's a party, in Toronto, where someone is going to cook for me (for free), clean up afterwards (without complaining), serve me fun drinks all night (also free) and not only tell me that I can dance (and I definitely can), but encourage me to dance as much as possible. I am ALL about weddings at this stage in the game.
While I don't currently have any wedding or baby showers booked, I know that one or two of those will probably happen in the coming months because people fall in love and have babies. It just happens. And then, there's always those unexpected parties that pop up when someone turns 40 or 70 or invites you to their yacht party. Um, anyone need a +1? And if for some reason I don't get any more invites, I'm okay with that, too. Because if push comes to shove, I will plan a party of my own, if only so we can all show up wearing the cute finds I've found below. It's a shopping party and everyone's invited. See what I did there?
